\r\nPut a frog down my back at the Carroll County Picture Show.

\r\nAnd she and Billie Joe were throwin' somethin' off the Tallatchie Bridge\".

\r\nA year has come and gone since we heard the news 'bout Billie Joe.
\r\nBrother married Becky Thompson, they bought a store in Tupelo.
\r\nThere was a virus goin' round, papa caught it and he died last spring
\r\nAnd now, mama doesn't seem to wanna do much of anything.
\r\nAnd me, I spent a lot of time pickin' flowers up on Choctaw Ridge
\r\nAnd drop them into the muddy water of the Tallahatchie Bridge.
